A serious wind turbine at a break through price!! Wind powered generator that is not a toy, actually the unit is quite massively built, weighing in at 75 kg This is a true gift of modern technology - a Wind Mill generator that gives you 200 to 300 watts, 28 volts and 8.33 Amps At long last we have sourced s wind powered generator that is NOT a toy. The unit is quite massive and ruggedly built. It will generate 200 watts at wind speeds as low as 8 metres per second. It will deliver useful power at a gentle 3 metres/sec breeze of give up to 300W at higher wind speeds. The 75kg unit features a 3 phase permanent magnet alternator with a serious 2.1 metre diameter blade rotor. The blades are fibreglass and very rigid. The unit will withstand wind speeds of 40m/sec (144km/hr). All mechanical components are either cast steel or aluminium. The unit has a 28V output which will charge a 24V battery bank (There is no point in 12V systems at this power level. If you require 12V, tap it from a 24V system.) Included is 4.5 metres of tower piping, tower base, guy wires, steel rope clamps and other mounting hardware. Some skill is required in construction e.g. concreting, mechanical assembly and rigging. The unit is made in China clearly for remote area application. Alas, the instructions are woeful but assembly is straightforward. Wind turbines provide far, far more power per $ - provided you have wind. Most places however, have some wind over a 24 hour period. If you have been looking for a decent wind generator but have been scared off by the price than this product is for you. Note: The product is supplied in two wooden crates, with a combined weight of 86kg. Specifications: Rated Power: 200 Watts A true account of what can be expected in the worst case scenario of the installation! TESTIMONIAL Price:
